**Now the mares**
Bella
Bella
Bella (Dellyila Sweet Chick) is a reg. '99 Apendex mare (14.3H). She has all the elligant beauty of a fine hunter and may one day make her way into the show ring. We will be breeding her to Mint in spring '04. She will be producing a very lovely (and hopefully healthy) Palomino filly or colt that should mature around 13.2. We will also be using her on the trail, and she will continue her training over jumps. Anyone interested in a future foal out of this mare (by Mint, see our "at stud" page) is welcome to contact us.
Penny
Penny
(She was a bit thin when she arrived)
Penny (Yasmin Oak's Barberella) is a (15.H) 2000 AngloArab mare (reg. half arab). She is by Barbery Coast, by Barbary. She is a beautiful strawberry roan mare, with grace and presence. We will also be breeding her to Mint in spring '04. Her foal will also be a Palomino, and with her breeding it should be an impressive mover. Penny is still rather green, I have broke her to ride and begun her trail work, she is a VERY intelligent mare and will be a great partner in the future. Again, anyone interested in a future foal out of this mare (by Mint, see our "at stud" page) is welcome to contact us.
Honey
Honey
This is Honey (should top at 14.1H), she's from Louisana and is a Palomino Quarter/Paint. This filly has all the golden color you could ask for in a solid Palomino!!! She has graceful lines and a smooth little trot. She is young yet, so we are all holding our breath waiting to see what she will become. Our goal is to see some fancy foals out of her by Razz (see him on our stud page). They are sure to produce some beautiful ponies with high white.
Videllia
Videllia
Videllia is the mare that we went to great lengths to own. She is by our very own Montana (the grey at the top of the page) and is one of only four foals sired by him before his gelding. She is out of a Reg. TB mare (Trashy Lady), and having Montana for a daddy makes her an American Warmblood in name, if not on paper yet. I fell in love with her baby pictures back when we first bought Monty, and when she became available... we drove from our home in Florida, all the way to Wisconson and back (in four days) in order to bring her home. We will be breeding her to Razz for foals with more substance, and the calm personality that Montana has become well known for. Videllia has become my husbands pride and joy, so her broodmare work will be a side job. She will certinaly see many miles of trails, and who knows where he may take her.
Thats not all of them, more to be added soon!!!
